Diagnostic Radiologist – Community Radiology

Overview
An opportunity is available for an amicable General Diagnostic Radiologist at a top-ranked hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth. The role involves interpreting a full range of diagnostic imaging studies, providing consultation to referring physicians, and applying clinical expertise in radiograph interpretation. Skills in body CT imaging and general ultrasound are expected, while nuclear medicine training and experience are desirable. Interventional, neuroradiology, mammography, cross-sectional musculoskeletal imaging, or pediatric radiology are not required. Call responsibilities are rotated equally within the group, with separate ER in-house coverage for after-hours.

Education

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of a minimum of 1 year of fellowship training in any diagnostic subspecialty.
  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility for Texas medical licensure, with acquisition required before the start of employment.
  • Experience with nuclear medicine is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a division that includes faculty members and radiologist assistants.
  • Appointment rank will be based on academic accomplishment and experience, with consideration for those seeking less than a full-time schedule.
