Key Responsibilities
- Care for patients in the post-anesthesia care unit, providing individualized attention and monitoring their vital signs and overall condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a PACU setting, preferably in a travel nursing capacity.
- Excellent clinical skills, including knowledge of anesthesia principles and patient monitoring techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
