Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, senior care facilities, and home community care. As an LVN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to ensure the well-being of patients while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Qualifications:

• LVN license in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• Sufficient experience to carry out the duties of this position.
• Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
• Wellsky SOFTWARE preferred
• Better to have prior home health Experience in Nursing (Preferred)
• Better to have prior home health experience
• 1 – year acute care experience

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, focusing on individual needs.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, and responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in emergency medicine situations.

Certification:

• LVN License for CA(Required)

Skills

• Knowledge of medical documentation standards.
• Familiarity with hospital environments and emergency medicine practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of independent decision-making when necessary.
