Location: Hilo, HI
Job Type: Travel Contract (15 Weeks)
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Summary

Hilo Medical Center is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care services for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide airway management and respiratory support
  • Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation equipment
  • Perform respiratory assessments and treatments
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist with CPR
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
  • Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records

Requirements

  • Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License (Required by Start Date)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
  • Minimum 2 Years of Respiratory Therapy Experience
  • Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
  • RRT Preferred
  • NRP Preferred
  • First-time travelers not accepted

Assignment Details

  • 15-Week Travel Contract
  • Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • 36 Hours Per Week
  • Acute Care Hospital Setting
