Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining medical imaging equipment, including Cath Labs, Cardiovascular systems, and General X-ray machines. The role requires the ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service delivery. You will be part of a dynamic team providing top-tier technical support in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment in Cath Labs and General X-ray machines.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including system calibrations and verifications.
- Resolve technical issues promptly, providing high-quality service in a time-sensitive, customer-focused environment.
- Document all service activities and field reports according to company standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accurate diagnostics.
- Communicate regularly with the account manager about the services being provided and ongoing support needs.
- Manage and maintain company assets required to perform job functions.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years as a Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in servicing multi-vendor Cardiovascular/Cath Lab and General X-ray equipment.
- OEM Training: Factory or formal training from one of the following OEMs: Philips, GE, or Siemens.
- Certificates: Must have a certification from Philips, GE, or Siemens for the relevant equipment.
- State License: Must possess an active state license.
- Job Stability: No gaps in employment or education history. Job stability is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multi-vendor imaging systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel frequently to various customer locations within a 4-hour radius, with occasional overnight stays.
