Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes of care.

About the Role

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for performing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of the registered nurse. This includes observing, recording, and reporting objective and subjective patient data, assisting with the development of the nursing plan of care, and administering medications by appropriately delegated routes.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection: Observe, record, and report objective and subjective patient data.
  • Planning: Assist the RN in developing the nursing plan of care.
  • Intervention: Competently perform tasks/procedures as directed, use equipment safely, and take appropriate action in life-threatening situations/emergencies.
  • Evaluation: Observe, record, and report patient responses to nursing interventions and other relevant data to the RN.

Requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you must have a current LPN license in the State of Illinois,
  • Valid BLS/CPR certification,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You must also be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required.
