Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of infection control practices, emergency medicine, and critical care transport. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide wound care and assist with sterile processing of medical equipment.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist in the management of patients requiring critical care transport.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Participate in ongoing training related to workers’ compensation law and emergency medicine practices.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in nursing homes or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of dermal fillers is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of infection control measures and critical care protocols.
• Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.
