Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Flex Pool | Nights

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Flex Pool Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units, providing comprehensive patient care while utilizing a broad range of clinical skills. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable floating between units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to provider orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in a variety of patient care settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Hawaii RN License by assignment start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong medical-surgical and acute care nursing skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and clinical environments.

• ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.
• Procedural Sedation Certification.
• TNCC Certification.
• ENPC Certification.
• Step-Down or Progressive Care experience.
