Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii. This position provides comprehensive respiratory care services across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience, advanced airway management skills, and expertise in ventilator management while working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring for patients across all age groups.
  • Manage and maintain invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support.
  • Perform airway management and emergency respiratory interventions.
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) events.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding respiratory treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient response to therapy and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
  • Ensure compliance with respiratory care protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Respiratory Therapy License.
  • Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License by assignment start date.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification.
  • Current PALS Certification.
  • Experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  • Previous travel or comparable acute care experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
  • Critical Care and Ventilator Management Experience.
  • Strong emergency response and airway management skills.
